To keep it from looking all shabby and no chic top the distressed jeans with a sleek peplum top by theory 

the piece de resistance would be these STUNNING saint laurent red sandals. seriously could it get any better? no the answer is no.

maybe add on a nude or beige leather bag, a couple silver bracelets and you are good to go. i don't know if I could manage these heels from parade to fireworks but the outfit is definitely to die for.

So I had an amazing labor intensive post almost ready to go up when my computer took a fall and completely bit the dust. While this news is saddening its actually a blessing in disguise because I pulled my old Macbook Pro (which had an unfortunately had a huge cup or lemonade poured all over it) out of the closet to see if I could sell it... Decided to plug it in to see what would happen, it turned on! Seriously I could cry I'm so excited. All in all my crappy windows computer is dead but my beautiful unibody Macbook Pro is still alive :)

So resort post coming soon!!

magic corner.

Guess who found the dresser on the right on our magic corner?! This girl!! All the drawers work perfectly seems homemade so very stable. I can't wait to sand it down, throw some paint on it, and maybe I could find a mirror that would fit across the top?? Ideas ideas. Anyways I am stoked because we NEED more storage in this tiny place so

i want to wake up here.

I know this feature is from March but its been saved on my computer for ages. Shown first on rebeccaminkoff.com... seriously her shoes and bags have gotten wayyyy more epic lately. 

denim mini skirts.

ok so I am dedicating my first blog rant to the denim mini skirt. honestly every time someone asks me in the store if we carry denim mini skirts it is very very difficult to bite my tongue and just reply "oh we dont have any in stock right now." I want to stand on a rooftop with a microphone and yell "LADIES IT IS NOT CUTE TO WEAR DENIM MINI SKIRTS." Alright I guess that sounds a little harsh. But I have analyzed the skirt, In action, multiple times trying desperatley to find a few redeeming qualities. Take the picture above... Denim obviosly streatches as you wear it, when cut in a mini skirt 9 times out of ten the skirt is cut in a direct line with the upper thigh and streatches right at the edges! Now we have a flare at the upper thigh making the hips thighs and ass look way bigger and wider then it actually is!  When I see the denim mini in action it usually has a very light wash and destroyed seams and pockets. Where are they still making these things?! So last time a customer asked I told her well they arent really trendy right now. She seemed surprised!!! WTF?? So lovely readers my advice is unless were talking a dark denim without light stitching cut below the upper thigh leave your 90's skirt at home. Readers weigh in.

Everyone has a blog in this day and age... Every creative person, every musician, every wanna be A-Lister has a blog! I mean really even if they arent writing or creating one they have a coworker or cousin who has a blog. I seriously wouldnt be surprised if some people read their mailmans cooking/golf blog. The pool of bloggers is especially deep for fashion or lifestyle blogs. And everyone wants to be noticed, be the best, take perfect pictures, make a shit ton of money....
